Standard fees:

$110 to $130 per 50 minute session of individual, family or couples therapy. Reduced rates may be available for some circumstances.

Accepted payment types:

I accept cash or personal check.  If you wish to use your credit card, you may use the PayPal option on this website to pay for a session before we meet.

Insurance options:

Currently, I am a provider for McLaren Health Plan and Magellan Health.  Coverage varies greatly, but my services may be covered in part or in full by your insurance provider.  Please contact your HMO or health insurance plan to learn more about what your plan covers. Below are some questions that are helpful to ask:

• Do my insurance benefits include mental health services provided by a licensed marriage and family therapist?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• Will I be required to pay a copay?
• Is there a limit to the number of sessions per year my plan covers?
• What is my deductible?
• Do I need to get approval from my primary care physician?

Cancellations:

I understand that sometimes things come up at the last minute.  If you are ill, please feel free to stay home and recover.  As a transplant patient, I am on immune suppressant medications.  I do really well until I get sick, so please don't worry about "rallying" to come to therapy.  We can always speak on the phone if there is a pressing issue that can't wait until your next appointment.  I have a waiting list for evenings, so if you are aware that you can't make your scheduled time, please notify me as soon as possible so I may offer that time to others.
